Perry Industrial Park

Perry has been designated one of Iowa’s Great Places. From the “Bike Ride to Rippey” otherwise known as BRR (or the winter RAGBRAI reunion) in February, the Friday Fests with live music and a mouth-watering variety of foods, the old-fashioned 4th of July Celebration, to the Latino Festival and the annual Lighted Christmas Parade in November, Perry has a rich tradition of events for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The city of Perry has begun a multi-million-dollar renovation of its downtown area, beginning at the area surrounding the historic Carnegie Library Museum. Perry has enhanced its downtown with a beautiful streetscape project, which includes a bocce ball court at the Josh Davis Plaza. Many buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Perry also has a strong commitment to offer many recreational activities to residents and visitors. Caboose Park at 1st Street and Willis Avenue is the trail head of the in-town portion of the Raccoon River Valley Recreational Trail, which connects to the loop of 89 miles of trails that pass through nine towns and three counties.
